Joline Steyn

Joline was born and raised in Kuils River in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. She obtained her LLB from Stellenbosch University in 2009. Joline was admitted as an Attorney in 2012, and as a Conveyancer and Notary two years later. She joined DKVG as an Associate in 2014, and was appointed a Director in 2021.

Joline is experienced in general conveyancing. She has worked extensively with developers and relevant role-players to ensure the successful registration of various development projects over the years. Joline has a special interest in wills and estates, and specialises in estate transfers. As a notary, she is actively involved in the wedding industry and has a particular love for antenuptial contracts. She’s skilled at drafting notarial contracts and authenticating documents for use outside South African borders.

Joline devotes some of her time to the Legal Practice Council, where she serves as an examiner for the competency-based admission exams for attorneys, and the exams for conveyancing and notarial. In her spare time, Joline enjoys cooking (especially baking) and exploring South Africa’s many campsites with her family.
