Marisa Koorts

Marisa was born in Cape Town and matriculated at Tygerberg High School. She obtained her BA. LL.B. Degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 1999.

After completing her articles, she was admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public in 2002. In 2003 she joined the firm as a Professional Assistant. Marisa was appointed as a Director on 1 April 2007.

Marisa is based at the Tyger Valley branch, where she practices in the property law and conveyancing department, with a specific focus on residential mortgage bonds (conventional and sectional title), development bonds and commercial property finance, where she acts for various financial institutions and corporate clients. She assist in the structuring of commercial property transactions and drafting of various securitisation documents. She also attends to the drafting of various notarial agreements.
